8am meeting Eurotech Old brick built septic tank which is in the field, and they are putting the 50-acre farm on the market, so they need a compliance check. They have the tank emptied every 2 years and was last emptied last year. She is unsure where the surface water is going. The property is 5-bedrooms. Just to confirm the objectives for the system check: 1. Check if the current system meets current general binding rules 2. Check the size of the current system to ensure it is adequate for the property 3. Check if there is any surface water from the downpipes entering the system 4. Check the condition of the tank for crack/leaks/structural condition 5. If possible to check the outlet point, if this is to ground, we will check for any signs of leeching (indicates drainfield failure) 6. Provide a full report with photographs and any quotes should remedial works or replacement be required Call Kirsty whilst on site for de-brief to ensure she has all info to produce report
